Posting SoPA portfolio credit

Portfolio process

  1. SoPA advisor meets with student to discuss portfolio interest and outline the process.

  2. Advisor connects the student with Delila to discuss potential courses for portfolio credit.

  3. If Delila approves:

    1. Undergrads are registered for PAPL 1000 (Registrar registers via incident submission).

    2. Grads complete a self-guided non-credit portfolio prep course

  4. Once the preparatory requirement is completed, the student has 6 months to complete the portfolio(s).

  5. Students are registered for one placeholder course per portfolio.

  6. The portfolio is assessed by faculty, which takes 2-3 weeks.

  7. When approved by faculty, Delila is informed and informs Micahla, who informs the Registrar’s Office to post the credit with the following information:

    • Student ID

    • Course number

    • Credit hours

    • Instructor

    • Term the course should be added to

Portfolio credit limits

  • Mark it as tuition waived

  • Grade posted as CR
