Removing a prior college (SOAPCOL)

A letter of non-attendance from the institution for removal is required to delete the institution from the student’s record.

Review the unofficial transcript

If an incorrect institution shows as a prior college on the student’s transcript, it was entered in SOAPCOL.

Remove the institution (SOAPCOL)

Enter the student’s ID and Go. If the prior college has data in the Degree Details block, it has to be deleted before the prior college can be deleted. Next block to Degree Details.

Click Delete.

Confirm by clicking the Yes button in the warning message.

Click Start Over.

In the Prior College block, click Delete. Save.

Add the letter of non-attendance to BDM

Upload the letter of non-attendance to BDM in SGASTDN on the Miscellaneous tab.
