Verifying address and phone number in Gibson (for students)
At the beginning of the semester, students are asked to verify their local address and phone number in Gibson.
When you log in to Gibson, you’ll see a pop-up asking you to verify or update your local address. Having a local address on record is required.
If the address displayed is correct, click verify. If it has changed, click Update.
You can also click Update to see all addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses we have on record for you and edit them.
To add a new address or phone number, click Add New. To edit an entry, click the pencil icon. Once you have added/edited, click the checkmark icon to save.

Once you’ve verified your address, you will then get a pop-up to verify/update your mobile phone number.
If the phone number shown is correct, click Submit. If the phone number shown is incorrect, delete the number from the Mobile Phone field and type in your phone number. Click Submit.
When successfully verified, you will see an green box that will disappear in a few seconds.
ID numbers should never be released via ticket, phone, or email. Students can access their ID numbers via Gibson. Students needing ID numbers for transcript orders can enter their SSN or 9 0's in the ID number field.
