Adding or changing a Social Security Number (SSN)
Current students or incoming students who have confirmed their admission by way of enrollment deposit can use the Social Security Number Change/Update form.
An incoming student who has not yet confirmed their admission, needs to submit a Registrar Support From including documentation of SSN.

Required Documentation: A social security card is required.
NOTE: If they cannot provide their original SSN card, we can accept a legal document that has their SSN on it. Most common legal documentation would be a tax document like a W2 or a 1099. The document must have the entire SSN on it, not just the last 4 digits.
How to enter the change in SPAIDEN
Once appropriate documentation is received, update the SSN in SPAIDEN.
Go to SPAIDEN
Click on the Biographical Tab
In the SSN/SIN/TIN field enter or update the social security number.
Click Save.
Next, add the Documentation to BDM. Document Type should be “SSN CARD”.
ID numbers should never be released via ticket, phone, or email. Students can access their ID numbers via Gibson. Students needing ID numbers for transcript orders can enter their SSN or 9 0's in the ID number field.
