Declaring dual degrees (NTC)

Dual Degrees policy

Students must:

  • Identify which is the primary degree and which is the secondary.

  • Complete the degree requirements for each degree listed above and that these requirements may include additional school or degree-based requirements beyond the Newcomb-Tulane College core curriculum and major requirements for each major.

  • Submit a degree application for each degree at least two semesters prior to the anticipated date of graduation.

Students should declare their dual degree by selecting Dual Degree on the the Major/Minor Declaration form available on the Advising website. When approved, NTC makes the curriculum update to match the student’s submission and updates the student’s advisor as needed.

Students dropping a previously declared dual degree: for those pursuing a major in a professional program of study within Newcomb-Tulane College, the professional program of study must be my primary major. Professional programs of study within NTC include B.S.E., BARCH, B.S.A, B.S.P.H., and B.S.M.
