Declaring dual degrees (NTC)
Students must:
Identify which is the primary degree and which is the secondary.
Complete the degree requirements for each degree listed above and that these requirements may include additional school or degree-based requirements beyond the Newcomb-Tulane College core curriculum and major requirements for each major.
Submit a degree application for each degree at least two semesters prior to the anticipated date of graduation.
Students should declare their dual degree by selecting Dual Degree on the the Major/Minor Declaration form available on the Advising website. When approved, NTC makes the curriculum update to match the student’s submission and updates the student’s advisor as needed.
Students dropping a previously declared dual degree: for those pursuing a major in a professional program of study within Newcomb-Tulane College, the professional program of study must be my primary major. Professional programs of study within NTC include B.S.E., BARCH, B.S.A, B.S.P.H., and B.S.M.
ID numbers should never be released via ticket, phone, or email. Students can access their ID numbers via Gibson. Students needing ID numbers for transcript orders can enter their SSN or 9 0's in the ID number field.
