Requesting CLSS access
The Class Scheduling Unit manually manages user access and role assignments for every department and position in workflow in CLSS. Campus users need to request access. Our office receives requests for CLSS access by phone and ServiceNow. Users need to provide their Tulane email address as well as first and last name in order for us to give access to CLSS. Further, if they will have a role in CLSS, they need to tell us what department they will be working in CLSS with, and what their role should be (DUS, chair or Dean).
Finally, if they are a new user to CLSS, they will need training on the software and what the expectations for their role will be. Meredith Lapre within the Office of the Registrar handles all training for new and old CLSS users.
ID numbers should never be released via ticket, phone, or email. Students can access their ID numbers via Gibson. Students needing ID numbers for transcript orders can enter their SSN or 9 0's in the ID number field.
