We can give each Noodle section an attribute. We can also give each student a Noodle attribute. However, we need accurate lists to reconcile and update as needed.

Dept of Ed definitions are our baseline -

Courses - 50% or more is online, it is online

Program - instruction is online with a few occasional program-related on-campus requirements

Online student defined by attributes (we rely on attributes for IPEDS and billing)

MJL is fully online

Jessica is ok with having separate major codes for online programs

Online - student, program, course

Flipflopping occurs most in SW and SoPA

Ok with tracking by cohort

How does Noodle handle this with other universities? Other universities tend to be more hands-off

 

To do -

Look at how other schools code online programs

Consider a student-initiated process that ends up in our office for final processing

Maybe add More Information field in SOACURR

Focus on SW and PH, will also include MBA when it goes online
