Students who may not want to commit to formal exchange may be interested in a month-long experience.

Business school program

Hours in class per week - usually aligns with credit hours. One class probably ok but more may be problematic.

 

 

Morning coursework - various topics - not something like FINE 3010

Afternoon cultural exchange

Need housing, dining

 

 

What does the course look like? (price)

Could this scale to include TU students?

Business interdisciplinary course

Exchange students don’t usually take 3010s, have already completed this coursework, but can if they want.

These students are has completed pre-reqs/basics.

Could service be added? More structure to afternoons? (Resume building)

 

 

SSE offers Pre-College program in summer that might be similar.

INBS probably best fit, but may want to consider a new subject code depending on the direction of this program. Maybe also use COLQ (COLB) or 360. General business elective. Can include instruction from instructors in other disciplines based on committee approval.

Then create special topics course numbers.

Also refer to Palagye program - Middle East peace program.

 

Mary’s shop could absorb the admission. Involves J visas requiring OISS conversation.

Mary’s shop requests transcripts and sends to home institutions.

Maybe offer discount to partners. It’s ok if student wants to participate w/out host institution.

Offer two cross-listed sections (one for domestic, one for intl).

 

How would the course apply for domestic students? service, race & inclusion (60%).

 

Business minor - 5/16 through late July 10 weeks.

Many international schools finish late June. Need to find out from partners when their spring terms end.

 

On-site orientation, opening reception, transportation from airport, support, health insurance.

 

What international business courses are available? International Law, International Finance, International Management, International Marketing. Sarah will search CIM.
