Canvas Master Class Setup

Create csv file with the following format

  • SUBJECT CODE, COURSE NUMBER, MASTER COURSE NUMBER

    • 7 digit associated canvas course ID

  • REMOVE THE HEADER RECORD FROM THE CSV FILE 

Upload the csv file into Banner

Banner form:  GUAUPLP

Process name:  Reg Master Course Import

Run Appworx job

  • REG_MASTER_COURSE_IMPORT_C

Parameters:

  • Course term

Run in Audit (A) mode to check output

Run in Update (U) mode to update student records

Check SSASECT

to make sure that the master course ID is populated

 

Follow up process with Jonathan and Peter

Updates canvas

This job will follow Class Scheduling’s course publish date.
