Depositing checks

This article describes how to deposit checks to the Registrar department account.

Complete the deposit form.

  1. Print the Tulane Departmental Deposit Form    

  2. Fill in top half  

  3. Department- Registrar’s Office  

  4. Dep. No.-23310 

  5. Fill in boxed section 

    1. Acct #- 121055 

    2. Nat. Acct #- 4492 

    3. Dept Use- 0000 

    4. Amt, Ref/Desc./ Rec/ Date 

  6. Enter total  

  7. Enter Comments: Check deposits for the Office of the Registrar  

  8. Make 2 copies of the form  

 

Prepare the checks.

  • Remove check stubs.

  • Stamp checks with “Tulane University Office of The Registrar For Deposit” stamp.

 

Complete the deposit ticket.

  • Fill out numbered section with check amounts  

  • Total  

  • Enter grand total into screened boxes 

  • Enter total items  

  • Send both copies of the ticket  

 

Deliver to the Bursar’s Office.

The Bursar’s Office closes at 3:00pm.
