Saving Banner favorites
There are two methods to saving favorites in Banner: Favorites and GUAPMNU.
Favorites
Type in the screen name you’d like to save. You will see it populate below. Note the star on the right.
Click the star to add to your favorites.
Click the star icon from the left navigation menu to view and access your favorites.
To remove a favorite, click the star.
GUAPMNU
Click on the Banner General Menu. Alternatively, you can navigate directly to GUAPMNU.
Select Applications.
Select My Banner.
If you have added screens to My Banner, they will display here. The last option in the list will be “Organize My Banner (GUAPMNU), which you should select.
When the screen opens, click Go.
The left pane displays all of the Banner screens. Click the Object header to sort alphabetically
Click through to find the screen(s) you want to add. On the screen you want to add, click on it once and then double-click it, which will turn it blue. Repeat for each screen. Once you have selected all of your screens, click Insert Selection.
You will see these screens populate in the right pane. Save.
Alternatively, if you know the names of the screens you want to add, you can do so by clicking Insert and typing in the screen name. Save.
To remove a screen, click on it in the right pane and click Delete and Save.
To see your My Banner list, close out of Banner and re-open. Click the grid (Applications) icon in the left bar. Click My Banner and you’ll see your list.
From My Banner, you can click the star on a screen to add it to your Favorites list, which you can access by clicking the star icon in the left navigation.
ID numbers should never be released via ticket, phone, or email. Students can access their ID numbers via Gibson. Students needing ID numbers for transcript orders can enter their SSN or 9 0's in the ID number field.
