Assigning FERPA training to a student intern or affiliate employee

Create an account

Admin > General > Subaccounts > Switch to account

  • Students - Affiliate-Student

  • Affiliate employees - General-Affiliate

Admin > Users & Permissions > Manage users > New User

  • Enter email address. Create. Edit.

  • Click on email address. Enter as follows and Save.

    • First Name: Charlie

    • Last Name: Brown

    • Full Name: Charlie Brown

    • Sortable Name: Charlie Brown 

Assign Course

Author > Programs

  • Search and select FERPA Online Training > Learners > + Learner > Type name.

Notify interns/employees

All Registrar Interns/Employees are required to complete FERPA training. Learn more about FERPA >

The training program consists of two courses: the first is the FERPA content (approximately 45 minutes) and the second is the assessment (approximately 20 minutes). Both must be completed to satisfy the training requirement.

The training program is housed in our HR training delivery platform, Bridge. Your first step is to change your password and then you’ll be routed to the training.

When you’ve completed the training program, you will be presented with a certificate of completion. While you do not need to provide this to me, I suggest you retain it for your records in the event your supervisor would like to verify completion.
