  1. Check the student’s email address in SPAIDEN. The TU email address should be the type 10 email address. Make sure the type 20 is non-Tulane. If not, update as needed. You must confirm their identity prior to updating this.

  2. Confirm they’re using the accurate username (SPAIDEN).

  3. The password may need resetting: https://password.tulane.edu.

  4. The caller might not have set up their Duo multi-factor authentication.

  5. The student has more than one ID. In this case, let Denise know.
