Search accessible by guests and logged in users.

Can search by subject code or keyword in keyword field. Also pulls in search from course description - so, if “chemistry” is not subject code or in title, if the word is in the course description, it will show up as a hit. Can also parameterize pre-reqs or course notes.

  • create search criteria item by session (morning, afternoon, evening.

  • exclude times - set times not available for class

  • information icon - publish your information to help students understand what the selections/options mean

book material options - range of cost for materials with a particular attribute - info menu allows us to define what those options mean

academic communities with their own class offerings of popular courses. usually managed by section number, but PATH gives the name that makes the most sense. That search is searching based on section number.

program requirements - taken scribe from DW and built easy to understand rendering of requirements

primary - all courses registered and any courses in cart not registered

registration pre-flight checks for pre-reqs, etc.

refresh happens every 10 seconds once registration opens (uses Banner APIs and some integration packages from CL and looking to move to Ethos)

they’ll see restrictions when they add the course to their cart

connecting advisor to student in path based on Banner. can set up people to roles to manage permissions and they use manage permissions screen. once approved, it processes it to banner and can be seen by student in path.
