Troubleshooting user issues with the online graduation application

Problem: Student doesn’t see the link to the graduation application

Tactic 1: Check to see if they have an active OA Application for Degree Online hold

  • Yes: End the hold; this should make the link appear in Gibson.

  • No: Continue to the next tactic.

Tactic 2: Check to see if the student is active

  • Yes: Continue to the next tactic.

  • No: Student should complete the PDF grad app: undergraduate, graduate (links forthcoming) and submit to the Registrar’s Office

Tactic 3: Duplicate the curricula and delete prior applications from the graduation application dashboard

  1. In SFAREGS > Curricula, click the Duplicate button. Save.

  2. In the graduation application dashboard, paste in the ID number. Select previous terms to identify any graduation applications.

  3. Click the gear icon under Actions and select Delete.

Student does not see the current graduation term on the grad app
