  • With cursor in Deceased date field in Biographical tab retrieves death notice

• Name change

  • With last name field and click Retrieve to show all name change docs attached to SPAIDEN

  • With cursor in ID field, clicking Retrieve shows all documents attached to SPAIDEN

If you’re in the inappropriate field and you click Add, it will show all possible document types

If you’re in the inappropriate field and you click Retrieve, it will show all documents

Joy will send document types have been set up and which forms they apply to.

Law School thing - imagine a file cabinet - BSID is our file cabinet with NO one else’s file. BSLAW only contains law school docs. Registrar can see everything in LS file cabinet but not vice versa. The limitation is that the LS cabinet has more doc types than the Reg cabinet. We can’t remove LS files from our view.

Recommended to refrain from too much pre-set filters

Doc types - it takes a little longer for some configurations. Prioritized the simpler ones and slow roll the other more complicated ones. Joy over time will get a better understanding of how long a particular configuration will take for more accurate projections.

When cloning from Prod to Test, meta data is cloned, but not images. If you do a search you’ll see a list of documents that exist, but when you try to open it it will error. If you hover over and there’s nothing there, it hasn’t been pulled in from Prod.

We have a printer with a scanner, you can scan image and send it to yourself and upload that scan. Fin Aid has a workflow on their printer, they put paper in printer to scan, it goes to a file share and they counselors and upload the docs from the file share. There’s a barcode sheet, put it between the documents, the workflow will break it out for you into individual documents. Evan will set this up for you.
