About Banner degree certification
Department representatives and NTC Advising certify students in Banner on SZADEGR. Faculty should use the Major/Minor Certification tool to certify undergraduate students.
On the first day of the final exam period, the Registrar’s Office will run the “roll to outcome” job which creates sought records in SHADEGR/SZADEGR. All data from SHAGAPP pushes to SHADEGR/SZADEGR, and once sought records are available, you can certify students.
Certifying a student in SZADEGR
Enter the student’s ID. Click the lookup button on the Degree Sequence Field. Double click the sequence number of the degree you intend to certify. Go.
In the Learner Outcome Information block, in the Graduation Information section, update the Graduation Status from AG to CG. Save.
