Relocating academic classes

 

Office of the Registrar receives room relocation requests for academic classes via email, service now tickets and phone calls from professors. Unless it is an emergency, please encourage faculty to use the service now form over calling or emailing to submit these requests.  

Room relocation request are processed in EMS by selecting the class in its current room assignment, using the ‘tools’ function>’Wizard’ >‘Change room’>’search for rooms’>select the booking>’select all’ & change the ‘building’ to view ‘202310 Assignable general pool classrooms’ to get results on other available rooms.  

Review the options that display in EMS. If there is another viable room option for relocation, suggest this to the instructor. If there are no viable options, inform the instructor that there are no rooms available.
