Accessing and responding to inquiries in the registrar@tulane.edu inbox

approved

The generic mailbox for the registrar’s office is used by alum, students, staff and faculty to communicate with our office.  As emails are received, they are answered and/or directed to the proper individual in a timely manner and should be checked multiple times per day.

 Accessing the inbox

  1. Log in at: http://outlook.com/wave.tulane.edu
    Login credentials

  2. Review messages in the order they were received.

  3. Move messages you’ve responded to into the Saved Emails folder in the left navigation pane.

  4. Be sure to log out when finished.

Best practices for responding to messages

If you are unsure of how to respond:

  • forward to a staff member (link to who does what)

  • ask a staff member how to respond

  • look up information using tools within your scope
