PRE-REVIEW

THIS PROCESS IS COMPLETED BY NTC ADVISING OR TRANSFER ARTICULATION (ADMISSIONS)

If the Registrar does it, NTC will send us a transcript and articulation form.

Transfer institution courses are entered in SHATATR. Transfer courses can be added one at a time with the equivalent course. Course articulations are valid for three years.

  1. Enter the institution code. Next block.

  2. Enter the following transfer institution course information:

    • Course subject

    • Course number

    • Title

    • Term (the term the course was articulated)

    • Indicate equivalency

    • Level

    • Status

    • Minimum grade (always “C (2.0)”)

    • Disregard Transfer Low and Transfer High fields

  3. Enter the Tulane course equivalency information.

    • Add the course subject and number. Title and credits will auto-fill.

    • It’s possible for one transfer course to be equivalent to two separate courses at Tulane.

    • Equivalent course attributes should auto-fill.

(warning) All courses should be entered, regardless if the courses will be accepted, not accepted, or still need to be articulated.
