Registration PIN Assignments

Certain populations of students are given special registration PINs that may give them an earlier roll-in time than the students' registration time tickets. PINs can be batch assigned via the Appworx jobs listed below. PINs can be manually updated on SPAAPIN. NOTE:

PIN Assignment jobs MUST be done in order, as the first PIN applied to a student’s record will be the one Banner gives preference to.

1. Athletes – REG_PIN_ASSIGN_SPRT_M

2. BSM-MAC Students – REG_PIN_ASSIGN_BSM_C

3. JR year abroad

   1. Run CR-HOUS-004 to get list of students registered in REGR-4030 in the previous fall term.

   2. Assign the 444 PIN to the students generated in the report  - REG_PIN_ASSIGN_BATCH_C

4. Spring Scholars

   1. Create PIN for spring scholar registration event

   2. Assign this PIN to incoming Spring Scholars – get list from Admissions - REG_PIN_ASSIGN_BATCH_C

   3. These students will also have advising holds placed on them (REG_APPLY_HOLD_C)

5. Zero-hour PINs – REG_PIN_ASSIGN_RAND_M

   1. Assigns random PINs to students with 0 earned hours

   2. Reserve one full day in November for 0 hour students

   3. Always run this process last
