Honorary degrees are those awarded once per year at commencement. (there is a committee for this)
Each person gets 2 items - a diploma and a citation. Diploma is not like ours - has a different format/paper/size. It’s not recorded anywhere. Comes from the prez office they write citation. We order the diplomas/citations and Colette makes sure they get to commencement. Printed via Paradigm - need to figure out how to order (Ashley is looking into this). We order two of each (in case of smudging).
Citation is a paragraph read out about the individual’s accomplishments at commencement. It’s a nicely formatted version of that.
