Ordering honorary diplomas

Honorary degrees are those awarded once per year at commencement.

Each awardee receives 2 items - a diploma and a citation.

  • The diploma is different than the student diploma, with a different format/paper/size. It’s not recorded anywhere. Order two for each awardee in case of damage.

  • The awardee list and respective citations come from the president’s office. A citation is a paragraph read out about the individual’s accomplishments at commencement. Citations are ordered by forwarding the citation to the Paradigm rep. They will return the proofs for approval. Forward the proofs to the President’s office for final approval. Paradigm rep will order citation on your behalf.

  • We order the diplomas and Colette makes sure the diploma and citation gets to commencement.

  • President’s Office also provides diploma names and type of honorary degree, as well as the text for the citation. We always proof citations and typically find grammatical errors that we get approved from President’s staff, (Will Ferbos), before making changes.
