Types of attributes:

All require a 4 digit code

• rate code STVRATE

• student attribute STVATTS

• course attribute STVATTR - governed by CIM workflow

STVATTS - student attribute

1. Department requests new student attribute

   1. Currently done by email

   2. Should we formalize this with a form/incident?

   3. What other documentation should we collect (MOU, etc.)

2. Is the attribute used for billing or for reporting?

   1. Billing attributes start with B

   2. Reporting attributes start with R

3. If billing attribute, review with Mike Pilman to make sure arrangements have already been discussed

4. Create the code in STVATTS
