Instead of rolling and manually updating some tables in Banner, it is easier to retrieve data dumps from a previous semester, update the dates in Excel, and then have IT upload the new dates into Banner.

  • Open an incident for the Banner team requesting data dumps of the following tables: SFRRSTS, SFRRFCR, and SFRCTRL. Request the prior year’s term when configuring the new term. When configuring a fall term, request the prior fall’s data, etc.

    • SFRRSTS and SFRRFCR

      • Banner form SFARSTS

        • This form controls registration, refund, waitlist, and add/drop dates by part of term.

      • Use the master POT spreadsheet to update the dates in these tables.

      • New POTs may need to be added, or unused POTs may need to be removed.

      • The DC dates in the SFRRSTS table need to span all of the refund dates in the SFRRFCR table
