Pre-requisite overrides
When adding a prerequisite override, it may be more helpful to the student to omit the CRN and instead type in the Subject and Course Number. This will allow students to adjust their schedule based on their preferred meeting pattern. Of course, use conventions established by your department when considering this method.
The Registrar’s Office can add pre-requisite overrides upon request from the academic advisor. Other overrides (department, instructor) should be entered by the responsible academic department.
Time Conflict Overrides
Students should submit a Course Conflict Resolution form to RSS or Registrar email accounts using the Registrar Support form or drop off in person. The form must be signed by both instructors for whose classes the time conflict occurs. If one signature is missing, do not process, and inform the student they need the second signature.
In SFASRPO, enter a TIME Permit for the CRN that needs to be added.
If the request was made via email, reply to confirm.
