Post-Commencement reflection
Problem statement
Each year’s Commencement preparation brings its own unique challenges. Over the past few years, the amount of flexibility in systems and processes and rate of change has increased. Our community relies on the Registrar’s Office to lead through such complexities.
While this year’s Commencement was different from those in the past, I think we can say the same of the past few years. Each year has been so different, which leads me to think that this variability is here to stay. Therefore, acknowledging the lessons learned, celebrating wins, and developing solutions to pain points is critical to creating new and refining existing systems to adapt to our dynamic landscape.
