Problem statement

The Office of the Registrar includes one VA School Certifying Official (SCO), which is a risk to continuity. There is little knowledge and understanding of VA policies and processes related to funding eligible military-associated students.

When VA processing is at its peak, I want to support the VA SCO on our team so that eligible military-associated students receive the appropriate amount of funding in a timely manner.

Current process

 

 

  • Document procedures related to credit submission, reimbursing the VA from debts, reporting tuition and fees, calculate thresholds, and reports used to identify discrepancies.
