Re-use venues every third year. Bilox, Natchez, Tupelo

Many liked it in Biloxi.

Last time we did LABUG it was one night in Lafayette.

How do we engage more folks in LABUG.

MBUG has a bigger budget, vendor support.

Can we do it on our own in 2025? Denise suggested 2026, Joanne said we won’t be able to get the contracts.

Alyssa said we need to partner unless we can change our membership model. Need to take advantage of Ellucian’s resources.

Jennifer J recommends asking about LABUG again for 2025.

MBUG will do their conference debrief in December, so we may not get feedback about our partnership until January

Charge fees? Need to address what’s in it for them.

Need to focus on sponsorships.

What are the guidelines on sponsorships? Competitors, etc.

Ellucian working on Slate integration to be more inclusive across the community.

Hotels are preferred due to meeting rooms. Lots of nickel and diming from set up and A/V.
