Troubleshooting courses in the wrong academic year on the MD transcript

The appearance of courses on the MD transcript is guided by the classification attribute for that term in SGASADD.

In the following example, there are courses in the T2 Academic Year that should be displayed in the T3 Academic Year.

We can review SHACRSE to identify the term(s) in which the improperly displayed courses were taken.

After reviewing the student’s attribute history in SGASADD, we learn that the student’s classification attribute changed as follows:

201830 - RCM1
202030 - RCM2
202130 - RCM3
202210 - RCM2 !!!
202230 - RCM3
202330 - RCM4

!!! The fourth record indicates a change from RCM3 to RCM2. Classification usually increases as time goes on, but we see a change to a lower class of RCM2 in 202210 before going back up to RCM3 in 202230.

To remedy this, advise the SOM to update the attribute in the anomalous term. In this case, once the SOM changed the attribute in 202210 to RCM3, the courses displayed correctly on the transcript.
