Inactivating SHAGAPP records - REG_INACTIVATE_SHBGAPP_C

This job inactivates SHAGAPP records for students who have submitted applications to graduate in a given term, but who have not been certified to graduate in that term. This job can also inactivate any WP (walking prior) SHAGAPP records. Both non-certified and WP SHAGAPP records must be inactivated before the student can submit a new application for degree. This job should be run after all degree addenda have been processed:
For spring terms: on or around January 15
For summer terms: on or around June 1
For fall terms: on or around August 30

Parameters
Term Code - required
Grad App term to be cleared (term just ended)
Graduation Status - can only run for one value at a time
AG - enter this code to run for any active applications that were not certified
WP - enter this code to inactivate walking prior applications
WF - enter this code to inactivate walking forward/future applications
WF applications do not need to be inactivated
Run Mode - required
Run in Audit (A) mode to check output
Compare output to grad app reports
Run in Update (U) mode to update student records
Verify
Check to ensure students’ records have been updated in SHAGAPP
Additional Step Required

If a student has an inactive SHAGAPP record (including WPs) and there is no change in their curriculum, the student will not be able to submit a new online application due to a Banner constraint. In this case the inactive SHAGAPP record must be deleted, so that the student can submit a new application.
