Removing sought SHADEGR records - REG_SOUGHT_DEGREE_CLEANUP_C

This job removes any sought (SO) SHADEGR records that have not been awarded (AW) in any previous term.  The job should be run after the latest degree conferral period and all addenda have been received.  Any sought records for upcoming terms need to be excluded from the cleanup job.

Run Cognos Report

  • CR-DEGR-016 - SO SHADEGR Records

APPWORX Request

  • REG_SOUGHT_DEGREE_CLEANUP_C

Parameters

  • Term to EXCLUDE from cleanup

    • Enter the upcoming degree term

    • The job will remove any SO records prior to this term

  • Cutoff grad date

    • Use default value, sysdate

  • Run Mode:

    • Run in Audit (A) mode to check output

      • Compare outputs below to the CR-DEGR-016 report

      • The APPWORX output may by SO records from terms prior to the one used in the Cognos report

    • Run in Update (U) mode to update student records

  • Filename for cleanup report

    • Use default value

  • Filename for error report

    • Use default value

Verify

  • Check to ensure students no longer have SO SHADEGR records

    • Students may have previous AW SHADEGR records

    • If no AW records exist for a student, no records will be retrieved
