End-dating DA holds for WP - REG_END_DA_HOLD_C

When students submit an application for degree, even if they are walking prior (WP), they are given a degree application (DA) registration hold that prevents them from registering in a future term. This job will end date the hold those students who are coded as WP. This job should be run on or around April 1 each year.

Run Cognos report

  • Grad App with DA Hold Info (CR-REGR-037)

Appworx request

  • REG_END_DA_HOLD_C

Parameters

  • Grad Term Code

    • Enter the current spring commencement term

  • Run Mode:

    • Run in Audit (A) mode to check output

      • Compare outputs below to the CR-DEGR-037 report

      • The APPWORX output may by SO records from terms prior to the one used in the Cognos report

    • Run in Update (U) mode to update student records

Verify

  • Compare output from audit run of the job to CR-REGR-037

  • Once run in update mode, spot check a few students on SOAHOLD.
