Entering an admissions decision (SAADCRV)
Admissions decisions are maintained in SAADCRV.
Enter the student ID and admission term. Go.
Verify the application
Verify that you are reviewing the correct admission application for your program of study and major.
Enter the decision
The cursor lands in the Decision Code field. If you already know the decision code, enter it here. If needed, you can also look it up using the Look up button to open the decision code validation table (STVAPDC). Save.
Learner record created
You will see a notification that a learner record has been created.
You can confirm the learner record was created by reviewing SGASTDN.
Cancellation after confirmed/deposit
Students who defer to a future term, decide to start in a prior term, or chooses to decline their admission after they’ve confirmed/deposited should have an additional admissions decision entered.
Follow the steps identified in the previous section to access SAADCRV and enter one of the following decision codes:
Code | Description | Use case |
---|---|---|
FA | Admitted - deferred future term | Student has cancelled their admission and is or will be admitted to the same program in a future term. |
AP | Request Admit to Prior Term | Student has cancelled their admission and is or will be admitted to the same program in a prior term. |
CA | Decline After Confirmed | Student confirmed/deposited but changed their mind. |
