Determining if a person has a Tulane ID number

Determining if a person has a Tulane ID number

If a person has a TU ID, they are findable in Banner.

SOAIDEN

In SOAIDEN, enter the person’s first name and last name in the respective fields and click Go.

Compare the birthdate, preferred first name, and/or middle name (depending on the available data you have). Note that while we use the MM/DD/YYYY format for birth date in Banner, some individuals may enter their birth date as DD/MM/YYYY.

If you don’t find a match, the student may be admitted in Slate but the admission record in SAAADMS hasn’t yet been created or this person has never been affiliated with Tulane.

  • If the person indicates they’ve been admitted, refer them to their admitting office.

  • If they’ve never been affiliated with Tulane, a new ID number may need to be created.
