Determining if a person has a Tulane ID number
If a person has a TU ID, they are findable in Banner.
SOAIDEN
In SOAIDEN, enter the person’s first name and last name in the respective fields and click Go.
Compare the birthdate, preferred first name, and/or middle name (depending on the available data you have). Note that while we use the MM/DD/YYYY format for birth date in Banner, some individuals may enter their birth date as DD/MM/YYYY.
If you don’t find a match, the student may be admitted in Slate but the admission record in SAAADMS hasn’t yet been created or this person has never been affiliated with Tulane.
If the person indicates they’ve been admitted, refer them to their admitting office.
If they’ve never been affiliated with Tulane, a new ID number may need to be created.
