Generating an unofficial certified list (graduation coordinators)
Prior to your degree certification appointment(s), you must generate a list of students for whom you’ve certified credentials. During the degree certification appointment, you and the Registrar’s Office will compare certified lists to ensure that they match.
Once you’ve generated your unofficial certified list, do not make any changes to records you’ve already certified and do not certify additional students. After your degree certification appointment, you can resume certifying students.
Once a credential is certified, if any changes are needed, you must contact the Registrar’s Office - do not make any changes until you’ve spoken with us. Changes might include adding/changing/removing honors or un-certifying a credential.
In the Gibson Staff tab, under the Services heading click the Commencement link. If you don’t have access, contact the Registrar’s Office.
Hover over the Print Lists tab, which will reveal a menu. Select Certified.
Select your school and the degree or certificate you certified.
Ensure that Print Official List is NOT CHECKED.
Click Generate PDF.
Repeat this step for each degree and/or certificate you certified.
Click Download for each generated list and save the list(s) in accordance with your internal protocol.
Attend the degree certification appointment.
After the degree certification meeting, you’ll receive the link to the folder to upload your cover letter.
The Registrar’s Office will merge your cover letter with the official certified list we generate and will send one file per credential certified.
