Changing a program string on a student's curriculum record (SFAREGS/SGASTDN)
Summary: Program strings are updated in either SFAREGS or SGASTDN. Click on the Curricula tab and select the program for update. Click the Duplicate button to make any needed changes in the Curriculum block and Save.

If you attempt to update SFAREGS for a future term that’s not yet available, you will get the following error. This is the indicator that the change must be made in SGASTDN.
If you attempt to update SGASTDN for a term in which registration exists, you will get the following error. This is the indicator that the change must be made in SFAREGS.
In the SFAREGS/SGASTDN Curricula tab select the program that should be changed. Click the Duplicate button. Click in the Program field to change the program string. Save.
When you click the Duplicate button, many fields become editable. You can change the program Catalog Term, Priority, and Program.
Click Save when finished.
