Updating the record of a student who declines admission after deposit/confirmed (graduate)
This guidance pertains to graduate programs and is for students who will not be attending TU at all or have applied/are admitted to another TU program.
Student informs admissions of cancellation.
Update admissions decision in SAADCRV to cancelled.
If registered, remove all courses in SFAREGS and delete registration record.
Remove/change billing attributes in SGASADD.
Remove all advisors from SGAADVR.
Financial aid to remove/move financial aid data.
Delete the learner record in SGASTDN.
Updating the student’s admission decision in SAADCRV
SAADCRV defaults to the very bottom Decision Data block. Previous block up to the Application Summary block.
Use the left and right navigation buttons to identify the application to be updated. Next block back down to the Decision Data block.
Click Insert and enter the CA (Decline after Confirmed) decision code and Save.
Removing courses and deleting the registration record in SFAREGS
This step is only required if the student is registered.
Enter the ID and term. Go. If the student has holds, enter OVR in the Holds field.
Next block to the Course Information block.
For each course, change the status to DD and remove using the delete button.
Save twice. Go.
In the Student Term tab, change the Student Status to IS. Save twice. Go.
To delete the registration record, click Delete in the Enrollment Information block. (no save needed).

Deleting the learner record
Enter the ID and term. Go.
Click Delete in the General Learner block.
Handling students who have applied or are admitted to another program
If the student doesn’t have a confirmed/deposited admissions decision for another program and has not registered for classes in your program
update the admissions decision for your program
remove/change billing attributes
remove advisors
delete the learner record
If the student doesn’t have a confirmed/deposited admissions decision for another program and is registered for classes in your program
update the admissions decision for your program
delete classes and registration record
remove/change billing attributes
remove advisors
delete the learner record
If the student has a confirmed/deposited admissions decision for another program and has not registered for classes in your program
update the admissions decision for your program
remove/change billing attributes
remove advisors
remove your program from the learner record
In SGASTDN, identify your program from the available current and active curricula.
Click Duplicate. Inactivate your curricula and Save.
If the student has a confirmed/deposited admissions decision for another program and is registered for classes in your program
update the admissions decision for your program
delete classes and registration record
remove/change billing attributes
remove advisors
remove your program from the learner record
In SFAREGS, identify your program from the available current and active curricula.
Click Duplicate. Inactivate your curricula and Save.
