If the institution isn’t already in Banner, you will need to create a new institution in STVSBGI.
When the new institution is created, send the request to create the institution as a transfer articulation institution in SOAGBTA to Sarah Casbergue (Transfer Articulation - Admissions). Transfer articulation will not work without this step! The following guidance shows how it’s done, but Sarah is the one who does it.
Transfer articulation institutions are created in SOABGTA.
Select the institution. Enter 000000 (beginning of time). Next block.
Need confirmation on this!Select the highest degree offered.
Select AG (credit generally accepted) in the Acceptance Practice field.
Select the Calendar Type.
Select a value in Acceptancy Authority field.
Select a value in the Level field. Enter all levels of work the Transfer Institution offers, i.e., UG, U2, U3, GR, G2, G2, etc.
Next block to Institution Accreditation. Enter applicable accreditation. Save.
Define transfer grades in SHATGRD.
Enter the institution code. Enter the default institution as 999999. Next block. Save.
