Text to appear on the transcript is entered in SHATCMT.
Originator codes identify the location of the text on the transcript.
LGY1: Text Beginning of Transcript
LGY2: Text after Degrees Awarded
LGY3: Text after Transfer Credits
LGY 4: Text after Course within Term
Used to identify non-TU courses taken at Shanghai University 202030-202130
LGY5: Text After Designated Term
Used when entering dissertation titles
LGY6: Text at end of Transcript

LGY5: Entering dissertation titles
Dissertation titles are entered in SHATCMT by the Dean’s Office representative.
SHATCMT key block
Enter the Student ID and Level. Enter the Originator code as LGY5 (Text After Designated Term).
This code identifies the location where the text appears in the transcript.
Enter the student’s last term of enrollment. The text, the dissertation title, will display on the transcript after the designated term. The designated term should be the student's last term, the term in which the student completed the degree. It should always be the student’s last enrollment term. Click on Go.
Transcript Comments By Term tab
Enter the title of the dissertation in the Comments field. Each line has approximately 48 characters. For dissertation titles longer than 48 characters, use additional lines by using Insert. Use as many lines as needed.
As you need a new line, press the down arrow key or click Insert.
For each line, enter the Term and Effective Date. The Term is the student’s final term of enrollment and the Effective Date is the date entered.
Save. Level and Originator Code auto-fill.
