This procedure demonstrates the method by which we resolve incorrect curriculum priorities for TU grads who are starting a graduate program in a future term. Incorrect curriculum priorities affects students by ending their undergraduate program too early, resulting in the inability to view the degree audit. It also adversely affects the graduation application.
This usually occurs due to a data entry error by graduate admissions processors.
Delete the graduation application in SHAGAPP.
Be sure to screenshot the Application and Diploma Information tabs of SHAGAPP prior to deletion.
In SFAREGS, delete the graduate curricula in all existing future terms. Start with the furthest out term.
Note each graduate program, field of study, department, and catalog term.
This pushes the undergrad program to 10. For two degrees, one will be 10 and the other will be 20.
Add the graduate programs back to SFAREGS with the correct priorities. Review to make sure it’s correct.
Add the graduation application(s) back to the student’s record in SHAGAPP.

In SFAREGS, enter the term and ID in the key block. Start with the first effective term that needs to be updated. If needed, override with “OVR”. Go.

Review the current state to determine what needs to change
In the Curricula tab, review the current curricula priorities by using the right triangle to scroll through. We are only concerned about Current and Active curricula. In this example, MBA MS is priority 10 and the MD MSW is priority 20. We need to flip them so that MD MSW is priority 10 and MBA MS is priority 20.

Correct the priorities
To change priority 20 (MD) to priority 10 and the priority 10 (MBA) to priority 20:
Take a screenshot or make note of the current priority 20 10 curriculum, which in this example is the MDMS. Note the Catalog Term Program, Level, Field of Study, Field of Study Catalog, and Department.
Scroll back to the current priority 10 20 curriculum. Click the Duplicate Update button.
Tab over until you get to the Priority field. Overwrite the 10 20 with “20”“10”. Tab. You will If you see the following message in the upper right corner. Click , click OK. The message will may re-appear. Click OK.
Save. You will be directed back to the Curriculum block. Because we moved the original priority 10 20 into the priority 20 10 spot, we now have to create a new priority 1020.
In the Curriculum block, click InsertDuplicate.

Tab over to the Priority field, which now displays “30”“10”. Overwrite the 30 10 with “10”“20”. TabNext block.
Enter the Program string for the new priority 1 10 curriculum (MDMSW). Tab. The Level will auto-fill, but be sure to check it. Next block.
Enter the Field of Study. Tab. Department auto-fills, but be sure to check it. Save.
Repeat for all available future terms.
